Vishay Guadalajara, Jalisco, is currently seeking applicants for the position of Customer Service Representative

Job Location

This position is located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and is performed on-site at our offices in Mexico. Guadalajara is a strategic hub for the electronics industry, recognized for its innovation, technological development, specialized manufacturing, and highly skilled talent.

What you will be doing

Serve as the primary communication link between Vishay customers, Field Sales Representatives, Direct Sales, and authorized Vishay Distributors. Develop and maintain close working relationships with Inside Sales, Field Sales, and distributor partners in support of the product lines within the Vishay Americas business unit.

The role will focus on providing customer service support to OEM Rep Houses, Customer Portals, and SGA/EMS customers.

Process customer orders and perform contract reviews in accordance with SAP rules and guidelines.
Enter and manage change orders, coordinating with business units when required.
Submit quotation requests for customers through SAP or legacy systems.
Submit and process RMA authorization requests and enter RMAs into SAP once proper approval has been received.
Request Marketing support to create material masters and customer information records when part numbers are not available in the SAP system.
Monitor EDI workflows and resolve issues to ensure orders are successfully processed in SAP.
Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from customers and sales representatives utilizing SAP and factory support.
Communicate critical customer requirements and information to internal business units.
Support logistics activities including order tracking, documentation, and issue resolution.
Coordinate expedite requests and proactively communicate potential delivery delays.
Work closely with the Credit and Collections department to resolve invoicing and billing issues.
Manage orders, changes, and cancellations through customer portals, as required.

What you will bring along

Education:
High school diploma required and professional degree in administrative, business, supply chain, or engineering fields related to electronics is preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Order Management, or similar roles.
Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
Previous experience working with OEM customers, EMS/SGA customers, distributors, or sales representatives is a plus.

Skills and competencies:
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Strong attention to detail for accurate order processing and contract review.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Planning, Logistics, Quality, Credit, and factory contacts.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide timely and accurate responses.
Ability to learn and understand a broad portfolio of Vishay products.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Advanced Excel knowledge is critical.
