Job Description

MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.   Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO and now in Cape Town South Africa!
At MOO, we don’t just print business cards; we help people make their mark on the world. We believe great design is for everyone and our goal is to help customers achieve that!  We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who is part problem-solver, part design-enthusiast, and 100% dedicated to the customer experience.
You’ll be the voice of MOO -- delivering "White Glove" service that feels human, helpful, and high-end. Reporting to a Customer Service Supervisor, you will join a team that thrives on positive energy and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class, human-centric service via phone, chat and email to support MOO’s diverse customer base
  • Provide expert guidance on product features, pricing, and specific artwork requirements
  • Act as a MOO ambassador , guiding customers through the journey of order creation and file upload process with a consultative touch
  • Have a critical eye mindset to spot technical errors, such as typos or misaligned images, before they go to print
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and empathetic demeanor while problem-solving with customers, ensuring they feel confident that their order will accurately represent their brand and print as intended
  • Resolve issues proactively, thinking "outside the box" to find solutions that benefit both the customer and the business
  • Maintain meticulous records by accurately logging every interaction within CRM systems like Salesforce or Zendesk

Communication & Soft Skills

  • Premium Service Experience: Deliver a personalized service that consistently exceeds expectations, embodying a "White Glove" mentality
  • Exceptional Writing: Professional written communication skills with a mastery of grammar and a conversational, non-robotic tone
  • Active Listening: The ability to quickly parse customer concerns to provide efficient, consultative solutions
  • Adaptability: Enthusiastic, optimistic, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment

What We're Looking For

  • A "Technical Artistry" Mindset: You have a sharp visual eye and a natural sense of aesthetics. You can spot a typo or a misaligned image from a mile away
  • Technical Savvy: You’re comfortable with Adobe Creative suite and can quickly learn our CRM (Zendesk) and internal backend systems
  • Flexibility: MOO is a 7-day-a-week operation;  we require the ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends
What’s it like to work at MOO? MOO’s the kind of workplace where you can really be yourself. Dye your hair purple. Hit the sofa with your laptop. Whatever helps you feel comfortable and happy at work. We want to help you grow in your career and set you up for success – while also recognising the importance of a healthy work/life balance.
That’s why we offer 19 days holiday rising by one day for each year here (for 5 years), a matched pension scheme, and paid parental leave. We’ll offer you private healthcare and life insurance. We also offer flexible work schedules with hybrid and remote working for certain roles.
Diversity StatementWe are working hard to create a representative, inclusive and super-friendly team, because we know that different experiences, perspectives and backgrounds make for a better workplace. And that creates a better experience for our customers. MOO doesn’t discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion or belief, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital status, disability or any other protected class.
As a design and technology company we have a desire and a responsibility to build a business that represents the world around us.
