Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare services provider, is on the lookout for a compassionate and motivated Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in improving the well-being of health plan members by connecting them with essential healthcare services. Your primary task will be making outbound calls to inform members about their eligibility for an in-home health screening, encouraging them to take advantage of this valuable service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to health plan members to schedule in-home health screenings.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive information about the screening process, addressing any member questions or concerns.
  • Update and verify member details in the system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain thorough records of all member interactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth scheduling process.
  • Follow up with members to confirm appointments and address any outstanding issues.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and adhere to all company protocols and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a healthcare environment, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A compassionate approach with a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
