Job Description

Agilent inspires and supports discoveries that advance the quality of life. We provide life science, diagnostic and applied market laboratories worldwide with instruments, services, consumables, applications and expertise. Agilent enables customers to gain the answers and insights they seek - so they can do what they do best: improve the world around us. Information about Agilent is available at www.agilent.com.

Are you curious about how a global scientific leader keeps thousands of laboratories running every day? Do you want to understand how service operations, customer support, and technical teams work together to deliver an exceptional customer experience?

Join us for an internship within Agilent’s EMEAI Service Contact Center in Barcelona, where you’ll learn how we plan and coordinate service for customers across the region. If you’re energized by teamwork, fast-moving environments, and solving problems that matter, this internship will give you real operational experience at the heart of our service organization.

As a Customer Service Operations Intern, you’ll support the coordination of service activities for our customers and learn how service excellence comes to life at Agilent. You will:

  • Assist with service planning by helping schedule installations, maintenance, and repair activities alongside field service engineers and internal teams.

  • Support day‑to‑day scheduling across multiple countries, learning how to manage changing priorities and real-time requests.

  • Learn how operational decisions impact customer satisfaction, from response times to communication quality.

  • Build strong organizational and multitasking skills as you work within established processes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Contribute to light project coordination, helping track progress, risks, and key updates throughout the service lifecycle.

  • Develop professional communication skills through interactions with customers, engineers, and cross-functional colleagues.

What You’ll Be Exposed To

This internship offers a unique chance to get a rare, 360-degree view of Agilent’s service and customer ecosystem, to understand how a global service organization operates. You’ll gain insights to:

  • Agilent’s scientific markets, including life sciences, diagnostics, chemical analysis, pharma, and more.

  • Our full service portfolio, from instrument installation and repairs to service contracts and field engineering.

  • Cross-functional teamwork, working closely with Field Service Engineers, Technical Support, Sales, Planning, and Service Business Managers.

  • Potential career paths, including roles in service coordination, field engineering, customer operations, technical support, logistics, and service business management.

You’ll leave with a strong understanding of how customer operations work in a global company – and where your skills could grow next.

This internship role is offered for a period of 12 months, full-time, office-based in Barcelona.
