The West Ryde Multi-Sport Facility is designed to be a vibrant, inclusive hub for sport, fitness, and community activity. Here’s what makes this centre stand out:

  • Four Indoor Multi-Purpose Courts: Suitable for basketball, futsal, netball, and a variety of other indoor sports. These courts support competitions, training, and casual play year-round.
  • Twenty-Nine Outdoor Netball Courts: Dedicated spaces for netball competitions, training sessions, and community events, regularly used by the Eastwood Ryde Netball Association (ERNA).
  • Fully Equipped Gym (147 sqm): Features strength and cardio equipment for casual fitness, memberships, and personal training. The gym is complemented by a balanced group fitness timetable, including HIIT, strength, conditioning, and mobility classes.
  • Group Fitness Room (144 sqm): A dedicated studio for timetabled group fitness classes, supporting a wide range of programs from yoga and Pilates to high-intensity interval training.
  • Multipurpose/Group Room: Flexible space for community meetings, training sessions, and smaller programs, adaptable to the needs of local groups and activities.
  • Commercial Kiosk: On-site food and beverage kiosk offering a menu tailored for competitions, events, and family visits, with a focus on healthy and convenient options.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the friendly face greeting every person who walks through our doors. Your role includes:

  • Welcoming and assisting all members and guests
  • Responding to enquiries, bookings and membership questions
  • Helping with program enrolments and sales
  • Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions confidently
  • Keeping reception running smoothly and professionally

🎓 Who We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for young people, students or anyone under 25 who loves talking to people and wants flexible, reliable work

You’ll shine in this role if you are:

  • Friendly, confident and great with people

  • Comfortable using computers

Essential:

  • Current CPR certificate
  • Experience in customer service or admin (any level counts!)

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
