The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join the team at Wales Heavy Vehicle Repair.

As a Customer Service Officer, you will assist and support our wider team and management with administrative tasks while providing customers with updates regarding their vehicle repairs.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday.

Role responsibilities

• Ensuring the environment is always customer-friendly
• Greeting customers on arrival
• Keeping customers informed about the repair process and anticipated completion dates for their vehicles
• Contacting customers to ensure they are satisfied with their AMA experience
• Managing telephone and email correspondence
• Supporting management with inventory administration (parts, paint, consumables, etc.)
• Liaising with insurance providers regarding claims and repairs

• Proven experience in a customer service role
• Highly professional and personable, with strong relationship-building skills
• Strong systems experience and competent computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
