About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our team at our Brisbane Processing Centre in QLD. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service to support the timely distribution of life-giving blood and products to Approved Health Providers while maintaining a commitment to all quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

You will continually look for ways to optimise work processes within the Customer Service Team by actively learning and adapting your approach to achieve great outcomes. You will act with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm and be able to relate openly and comfortably with everyone. You will value interpersonal savvy and self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you a valued contributor.

A day in the role will see you:

  • Receive and confirm orders from Approved Health Providers
  • Provide excellent customer service over the phone and via email for management of customer queries and feedback
  • Liaise with medical and scientific stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders
  • Input orders and logistical information efficiently into systems for further processing and fulfilment
  • Escalates all issues that result in deviation from the work schedule or standard work processes
  • Maintain a high commitment to quality systems, quality control measures and applications.

  • Prior experience in phone based customer service roles & passion to deliver in a high-pressure environments
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy under time pressure
  • Collaborative with a strong sense of teamwork
  • Ability to follow and perform standardised work processes in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical and digital aptitude with confidence using systems and computers
