About the Role:

The Customer Service Officer at Carbiz is responsible for guiding customers through the claims and eligibility process and car rental hires with a focus on high-quality customer service.

Acting as the main liaison between customers, external stakeholders and internal departments, this position is vital to enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring seamless customer experience.

About the Role:

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and network partners, providing support in conducting eligibility checks and coordinating vehicle rental hires.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage directly with customers to secure detailed information needed for claim processing, providing clear guidance throughout the claims process.

  • Conduct thorough eligibility assessments for customers requesting rental vehicles, verifying details to determine if they meet the required criteria for support.

  • Collect and document all relevant details from customers and other stakeholders to support the claims process, conducting further investigations when required.

  • Serve as the primary contact for external stakeholders, including insurers, repair shops and towing companies, maintaining efficient and professional communication.

  • Coordinate with internal teams such to support seamless claim resolution and uphold service standards.

  • Provide exceptional service by responding to customer inquiries, guiding them through the claims and rental process, and offering regular updates on their claim status.

About You:


  • Prior experience in phone-based customer service or sales (preferred but not essential - we hire based on attitude!).

  • 38-hour work week | Have flexible availability to work Monday–Sunday between 7:00am-9:30pm (preferred).

  • Proficiency in additional languages, such as Mandarin or Cantonese (desirable).

  • Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy.

  • Excellent organisational skills and capable of handling multiple tasks effectively.

  • A warm and enthusiastic personality, with a strong sense of empathy.
