About CBC Specialty Beverage
CBC Specialty Beverage is a leading national distributor of premium coffee, espresso, and tea to the foodservice industry. With over 35 years of success in the Chicagoland area, we have built a strong reputation for quality, service, and innovation. As we continue to experience rapid growth, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Customer Service team and contribute to our ongoing success.
How You Will Contribute
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for all matters related to assigned accounts
• Communicating client needs clearly and efficiently to internal teams, including coordinating requests for training, tastings, and service support
• Manage customer account maintenance, including updating records, addressing back-ordered products, and handling communications related to statements, invoices, and payments
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and solution-oriented support across all touchpoints
What We’re Looking For
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both customers and internal teams
• A self-starter who can effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proven customer service skills and a solid understanding of the service or hospitality industry
• Ability to quickly learn product offerings and confidently communicate key information to customers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to support accurate account management and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the foodservice, beverage, or hospitality industry
• Prior experience in customer service or account management role
• Familiarity with CRM or order management systems
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
