GE Vernova’s Grid Systems Integration (GSI) business represents a key role in the energy transition across Europe. In that context and for Germany, Grid Solutions is partnering with TenneT, which plans to invest more than $30B by 2030 in deploying new HVDC converter stations to bring Offshore Wind energy into Germany and the Netherlands. To support this mission, we are currently looking for a Customer Service Leader (m/f/d) based in Germany which will be acting as an operational face for internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will provide end-to-end support for contract administration and management, including the oversight of Terms & Conditions and proactive claims management. This role involves also leading risk modeling, contract estimating, and financial planning for both tender processes and active project reviews. As a key contributor, you will drive operational excellence, set strategic priorities for your team, and utilize your professional judgment to shape best practices and improve functional effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts · Provide both service agreement, and time and material program management · Assist in sales campaigns for new contracts and proposals · Assure timely resolution of customer issues and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts · Interact with members of the customer service, parts & transactional services, field service, repair service and/or other teams · Function as liaison between internal organizations and customers for assigned contracts ·
• Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications

• Higher degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, combined with experience in the Services & Customer Contract Management.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Solid technical understanding of HVDC systems
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex service data, resolve operational problems, and lead projects from inception to completion.
• Proven ability to document, plan, and market service programs effectively.
• Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage risks and resource requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Openness to business trips (30%) ​
