Job Description

The Customer Service Lead will manage a regional team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), serving as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams. This role supports Sales and Project Management by ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with scope and regulatory requirements. EnviroServe projects involve hazardous and specialized waste transportation, remediation, and disposal.
Job Responsibilities:
· Lead and develop a regional team of CSRs, setting performance standards and fostering a culture of accountability and customer focus.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving issues promptly.
· Oversee resource allocation across multiple projects; prepare cost estimates and summaries prior to invoicing.
· Manage CSR performance, staffing, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure operational efficiency.
· Coordinate communication between Sales, Operations, and field teams to maintain smooth workflows.
· Respond to customer inquiries and provide documentation for upcoming or completed jobs.
· Obtain quotes and pricing from suppliers and subcontractors; assist with project reporting.
· Maintain and update project data in company systems; format and proofread documents.
· Research regulatory requirements, Material Safety Data Sheets, and other compliance information.
· Complete waste profiles and hazardous waste disposal paperwork.
· Support cost monitoring and invoicing through accurate data entry.
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of customer service experience, preferably in environmental services or related industries.
· Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving performance.
· High School Diploma or GED; degree in Environmental Science or Business preferred.
· Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in project management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
