Apply now for the Customer Service Laboratory Solutions (CS LS) Project Manager - ASEAN position and play a key role in the ASEAN team. The role will lead the ASEAN Customer Service Laboratory Solutions project portfolio, driving project delivery excellence, financial performance, governance, and customer satisfaction while providing regional leadership and strategic direction to Project Managers across multiple ASEAN countries.

This position may be based in Malaysia, Thailand, or Vietnam, with no relocation required.

Your Role:

  • Own and coordinate the ASEAN project portfolio, providing regional oversight of project priorities, capacity, resources, risks, timelines, financial performance, and delivery outcomes.
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to Project Managers across ASEAN, driving consistent project execution, governance, and accountability without direct people-management responsibility.
  • Collaborate with Regional SI PMO to ensure country project execution is aligned with global DX Project Management standards, processes, tools, and governance requirements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, with the required quality and customer expectations, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and recovery actions.
  • Establish regular project portfolio reviews and governance, providing transparency on project status, KPIs, risks, financial performance, resource requirements, and critical decisions.
  • Drive effective project financial management, including budget control, resource planning, forecasting, financial reporting, project profitability, and reduction of Non-Conformance Cost (NCC).
  • Act as the ASEAN escalation point for major project, resource, financial, customer, contractual, and operational issues, coordinating the appropriate stakeholders to make resolution.
  • Partner with DX Commercial/Sales on tenders and new business opportunities, including CS scope definition, project costing, resource requirements, delivery assumptions, risks, and commercial conditions.
  • Partner with CS LS Management to ensure CS costing, resource assumptions, and project-related information are accurately maintained in DXQB / DXCon, in accordance with global Service Portfolio and SMN guidelines.
  • Partner with CS LS Management and relevant Business/Product stakeholders to ensure Customer Services readiness for new product launches, including service resources, training, tools, spare parts, and implementation requirements.
  • Partner with CS Partner Management to establish transparency of project implementation information, including installed base, implementation status and details
  • Partner with DX Finance on contract management, project financial reviews, post-cost analysis, profitability improvement, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure effective customer, contractor, Business Partner, and internal stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle, particularly for complex or high-risk projects.
  • Drive adherence to project management, quality, compliance, risk management, and governance requirements, and ensure appropriate corrective actions where gaps are identified.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, digitalization, and best-practice sharing across ASEAN to improve project execution, customer experience, productivity, and profitability.
  • Build PM capability across ASEAN through coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and development of common tools and practices, in collaboration with country PMs and their respective managers.
  • Serve as the regional PM subject-matter expert and strategic advisor to ASEAN management, providing insights, recommendations, and data-driven decisions on project portfolio performance and business priorities.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Customer Services, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-country or regional projects.
  • Experience leading Project Managers and/or PMO teams.
  • Strong experience in project financial management, budgeting, costing, forecasting, and contract management.
  • Experience in supporting commercial tenders and/or new product launches is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, or technology industry is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; ASEAN regional experience is preferred.
