About the Role
The purpose of the Services & Support department is to provide outstanding pre and post sales service as well as a positive experience to Canon’s business imaging customers, aligned with sales, service and marketing. As a member of the Services and Support team reporting to the Manager – Service Performance. You will be responsible for providing pre and post sales customer service as well as support to Canon’s business imaging customers while maintaining their printer fleet.
This role is Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) to our mining-based customers in remote & regional WA. The role requires maintaining & managing onsite parts, stock thresholds plus performing quarterly stocktakes. It also involves assisting end users with monitoring use of consumables. Details below:
Perth based FIFO to Pilbara every Monday to Friday for 3 weeks of the month and then 1 week Perth based
Compliance and ongoing adaptation to varied and dynamic Drug and Alcohol policies and procedures of customers
Compliance and ongoing adaptation to varied and dynamic HSE, induction and compliance policies and procedures of customers
Scope of Role
Reactive and proactive printer servicing, upgrading software/firmware, network connectivity, and installation of hardware and software
Effectively meet and exceed customer's needs, building productive relationships with Canon customers
Keep up to date with current technologies and training, including technical and workplace compliance
Manage and utilise resources (including but not limited to spare parts, consumables and tools of trade) effectively to balance the financial requirements of Canon and the needs of the customer
Return/recycle parts or products where appropriate/practicable to comply with financial and sustainability requirements of Canon
Keep the Sales Department advised of opportunities to increase installed machine base and promote all sales opportunities
About You
Ideally you would possess experience as a printer or photocopier technician with exposure to repairing both hardware and software issues in the field. Being a customer facing role, it requires an exceptional representative to be the ‘go to’ person from Canon for the customer.Individuals with mechanical/electrical aptitude and no prior industry experience may consider applying. Holding a valid Driver Licence is a key requirement for the role.
