This seasonal role in Bedford Park, IL involves answering customer inquiries by phone and in person, assisting with parts lookup, managing shipping and receiving, and supporting inventory stocking. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to convert to full-time employment.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Bedford Park, IL 60638
• POSITION: Seasonal with Right to Hire
• PAY RATE: 20.00hr
• HOURS: 6:00am to 3:00pm

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls and assisting customers in-store.
• Look up parts and process customer orders using computer systems.
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services under supervision.
• Ensure proper stocking of Lennox-branded and HVAC-related products and supplies.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and shipping/receiving tasks.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policies clearly to customers.
• Adhere to all safety, health, security, and environmental standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in counter sales.
• Computer proficiency for parts lookup and order processing.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
• General HVAC knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift skills (used 2-3 times per week).
