Northern Iron – Lawton Standard is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team.
The Customer Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive and efficient experience from initial inquiry through order fulfillment. This role manages incoming communications, prepares quotes, processes orders, and provides timely updates while maintaining accurate documentation. The coordinator works closely with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.

What are the hours and pay?
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay: $60-70K per year depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communication & Support
- Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Provide order status updates and communicate timelines or changes to customers
- Respond quickly and effectively to customer feedback, requests, and concerns
- Resolve customer issues by coordinating with internal teams as needed
- Order Management & Processing
- Prepare and provide customer quotes as requested
- Enter and process customer orders accurately within company systems
- Monitor orders throughout the fulfillment process and communicate updates
- Coordinate order changes, cancellations, and adjustments when required
Documentation & Data Management
- Enter data into MDI documents and internal systems as requested
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account activity
- Ensure proper documentation of orders, communications, and issue resolution
- Assist with invoicing and order-related documentation
Collaboration & Administrative Support
- Work collaboratively with sales, operations, production, and accounting teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Provide administrative support related to customer accounts and order management
- Assist with special projects or process improvements as assigned
- Provide backup support for other roles or departments when requested
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer service, administrative, or order management experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order entry or ERP systems
