Customer Service Bid & Quote Specialist

Belgrade, Serbia - Full Time

Are you customer-focused, well-organized, and confident working with both commercial and technical information? Do you enjoy coordinating with different teams to prepare accurate solutions that meet customer needs?

Join us as a Customer Service Bid & Quote Specialist in our Global Business Centre in Belgrade and support our Sales team in preparing bid proposals and standard quotations. You will coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure that inquiries are handled professionally, efficiently, and in line with agreed service and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret standard and major project quotation inquiries to maximize Zumtobel’s opportunity to secure each project.
Prepare, check, and coordinate appropriate commercial and technical offers based on Sales and customer requests and in line with current business guidelines.
Provide professional telephone and email support, clearly communicating technical and commercial information to different customer groups.
Generate the technical and commercial information required for bidding and quotation processes and manage spare-parts inquiries.
Create and coordinate Custom Product Requests, liaising with relevant factories and third-party suppliers.
Collaborate with Sales, Lighting Design, Controls & Systems, CPD, TPP, Order Management, and other internal teams to identify suitable products and solutions.
Support other relevant departmental activities as required.

Skills & Experience

Completed education or professional training in business administration, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
At least two years of relevant experience in sales operations, ideally within a bid or quotations department, as well as proven experience in a customer-facing role.
Strong administrative and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach, with good planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills.
Ability to take ownership of tasks, manage tight deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Practical experience with SAP and proficiency in MS Office applications are required; Salesforce CRM experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge of lighting, electrical systems, Zumtobel Group products, or competitor products would be an advantage.
Fluency in local language and excellent English language skills.
