SUPPORT CUSTOMER QUALITY AND DRIVE RESOLUTION AT COILCRAFT

Position: Customer Support Associate – Quality Location: Cary, Illinois

Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a worldwide reputation for high-quality passive electronic components. Our products support industries including telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Customer Support Associate to join our team and serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate resolution of issues while maintaining Coilcraft's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

About the Role and Your Impact

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for customer quality concerns
  • Create, process, and track Quality Assurance Inquiries from submission through resolution
  • Coordinate with internal departments to investigate and resolve customer issues
  • Draft and deliver 8D reports based on failure analysis and corrective actions
  • Coordinate customer returns, exchanges, and credits
  • Assemble and route contract review documentation
  • Act as a resource for internal teams regarding quality-related inquiries
  • Support management with quality-related tasks and reporting

  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to work with databases and reporting tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in customer support, quality, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with quality systems or corrective action processes (8D, etc.)
  • Experience handling customer returns or product issue resolution
  • Comfort working with technical information or manufacturing data
