📍 UK Remote
⏳ Permanent | Part-time | 32 hours per week
At tombola, we're the UK's largest online bingo site, and we've grown into an international brand with teams across several countries, including Italy. We're known for innovation, community, and delivering brilliant customer experiences.
We create all our games in-house, genuinely care about our players, and our Customer Experience team sits right at the heart of everything we do.
We're looking for flexible, proactive, people-first Customer Service Advisors with excellent Italian language skills who enjoy variety, love solving problems, and are excited by the opportunity to build a career with us.
No two days are the same in this role.
One moment you could be supporting a player through live chat, the next you might be on the phone helping resolve an issue, celebrating a big win, or welcoming a brand-new player to tombola.
You'll be:
Supporting players through both phone and live chat.
Finding the right solution for every customer by listening, investigating and problem solving.
Reviewing customer identification as part of onboarding new players.
Helping to keep tombola a safe and responsible place to play by supporting our safer gambling processes.
Delivering an awesome customer experience with every interaction.
You'll be supporting our Italian players, so you'll need to be confident communicating in Italian, both written and spoken. Every conversation is an opportunity to represent tombola and leave our players feeling valued and supported.
This is a 32-hour permanent position.
Our Customer Experience team supports players between 7am and 11pm (UK time).
Shifts are worked on a flexible rota, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility is important, as these are often our busiest times, but you'll always receive your rota at least five weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan around your personal commitments.
Previous customer service experience, ideally within a contact centre or similar environment.
Excellent Italian language skills, both written and spoken.
Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with a wide range of people.
A proactive problem solver who enjoys finding solutions.
The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A warm, friendly personality with a genuine passion for helping people.
A supportive team player who's always happy to help colleagues.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
A desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career at tombola.
At tombola, you'll be joining a supportive and friendly team where your ideas are valued, development is encouraged, and progression opportunities are genuine.
Many of our leaders started their careers in Customer Experience, and we're proud to support internal progression across the business.
If you're looking for a role that's varied, people-focused and gives you the opportunity to develop your career while making a real difference to our players, we'd love to hear from you.
At tombola we know that our differences make us stronger and that thinking differently is key to long term success. We work hard to create a culture of inclusivity where everyone can celebrate our Free to be me value. We’re committed to creating opportunities for everyone and welcome applications from all backgrounds even if you don’t meet every single requirement.

tombola is a technology company operating in the online gambling market. We came bouncing into the online bingo world in 2006, but our roots in bingo date way back to the 1800’s. We’ve grown rapidly over the years and entered the world of online slots in 2016 with tombola arcade. We’ve just embarked on a new chapter becoming part of Flutter entertainment, a FTSE100 company and the worlds biggest gaming company.
Staying true to our roots the tombola campus remains in Sunderland overlooking the River Wear and we invested in our international brands that help us take our Mackem business all around the world. We started in Italy, before venturing to Spain and beyond to Denmark and Sweden, along with our largest overseas office on The Rock of Gibraltar.
We’re completely unique in that all of our games are exclusive to us as they’re all designed, developed and managed in-house. We actively encourage our team to be involved from the ideas stage through to the live launch of a game and beyond. We innovate and we ask our people to push the boundaries of new technologies and give our customers the best experience possible.
We are built on a philosophy of taking a responsible approach, and putting the player first, always. We proactively engage with our customer community, ensuring our players are in control and receive great value for money. That’s really important to us. We encourage low-stake and aim to create a fun community that our players love.
We’re ambitious, we’re growing quickly and we’re looking for awesome people to join our already awesome team. #tombolalife is a lot of fun - we take pride in what we do, we work hard and we work together. We’re excited about the future and the team that will make an impact.
Come join the fun!
