What you will do

This role is responsible for managing and exceeding customer expectations through the process of coordinating new vehicle movements, this role is resposible for;

  • Conduit between the Customer, third party vendors and the Workshop to ensure a single point of contact
  • Manage customer expectations by providing timely updates on job progress, handling of cash sales transactions and conducting vehicle handover upon completion of the work
  • Manage the quotation process, including checking customer credit limits and guarantees of payment; and identify applicable payer i.e. Warranty, Contracts, Cash Sale etc
  • Create and invoice work orders, add job lines and allocate work to the workshop planner with regard given to workshop booking capacity and work load.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell by promoting additional products or services to meet customer needs, contributing to increased sales and customer value
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure efficient co-ordination of new vehicle movements through the Scania Australia Service Network

  • Strong abilities in time management, organisation and administration
  • Effective problem solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Mechanical or workshop aptitude is advantageous
