Customer Service Advisor – VELUX Belgium

We are looking for a:

Customer Service Advisor

Your challenges

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be one of the main points of contact for VELUX Belgium by phone and email. Everything you do has one objective: providing our customers with the best possible experience around daylight and fresh air.

You will assist customers with questions about our products, services and ongoing orders. By listening carefully, asking the right questions and showing genuine involvement, you will help customers find the solution that best fits their needs.

You will also help customers who contact us with a problem by guiding them towards the appropriate solution.

If a question requires more technical expertise, your colleagues from After Sales Service are available to support you. Of course, you will receive thorough training to become familiar with our products.

Within Customer Service, you act as a link between different departments and will quickly get to know colleagues throughout the company.

Your main responsibilities

• Answering questions from our customers, dealers, installers and end users by phone and email
• Helping customers select the most suitable VELUX product for their needs
• Building positive relationships across the organisation to exchange information and follow up on customer requests
• Recognising commercial opportunities during customer interactions
• Understanding VELUX terms and conditions and communicating them clearly to customers
• Navigating systems and information tools to provide relevant and accurate information

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, a strong affinity with Customer Service is essential. You are able to communicate with our different customer groups in a friendly, professional and effective way.

You also:

• Are a strong listener and know how to ask the right questions and summarise information in order to identify customer needs
• Are fluent in French and Dutch, both written and spoken
• Are able to process information accurately
• Feel comfortable working with different systems and digital tools
• Work accurately when making decisions
• Adapt easily to new initiatives in a growing and fast-changing environment
• Are self-aware and comfortable receiving constructive feedback
• Recognise commercial opportunities during customer interactions and respond appropriately
• Are a true team player
