Permanent Position within the Financial, Revenues & Wellbeing section of Customer & Online Services.

These posts are 36 hours per week (full time) with the working hours of Monday – Friday working 8:48 until 17:00.

You will earn a competitive salary of £26,786.83 - £29,170.80, have access to a range of benefits including local and national discounts for supermarkets, restaurants and retail.

The roles are based within the Scottish Welfare Fund team and will be 36 hours per week (full time) with the working hours of Monday – Friday. Once full training has been given, the option of blended working will be available, main office base is Bankhead, Glenrothes. There will be a requirement for some Public Holiday working.

The Scottish Welfare Fund:

This role requires some telephone work, supporting people from a variety of backgrounds who are struggling with daily living essentials such as food and fuel.

This role will involve assessment of grants applications.

This is a Customer Service based role, and the candidate should be customer focused and able to provide excellent customer care.

The Person

You should have experience of providing excellent customer service and good communication skills which include written correspondence and telephone interactions. You should be able to use your own initiative, work independently and as part of a team. Experience in prioritising your own workload and managing your own time whilst having the ability to work under pressure. Have a high level of customer care skills with the ability to respond sensitively to people with a variety of needs. Display a flexible attitude to work and change with a positive, pro-active approach. You must have the ability to use multiple IT systems and have excellent administrative skills.
