The Customer Relations Lead plays a critical role in managing strategic customer relationships within the mining sector. This position is responsible for overseeing high-value commercial contracts, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and leading a team of Customer Relations Representatives.
The role acts as the key interface between the business and its customers, driving customer satisfaction, contract performance, and long-term partnership growth.
The Customer Service & Relations team manages customer orders, contracts, and day-to-day interactions, ensuring efficient service delivery and strong relationships. The team collaborates closely with Sales and Operations to support key mining customers and drive business performance specifically for the Pumps, Cyclones, Valves, Hose & Rubber product line.
Oversee the management of key clients associated with high-value and complex commercial contracts, ensuring strong relationship ownership and consistent service delivery
Operate in a senior leadership capacity, handling more complex customer matters, escalations, and strategic discussions
Exercise a higher level of authority in decision-making, including issue resolution, commercial outcomes, and driving process improvements
Lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders to deliver optimal outcomes for both the customer and the business
Take ownership of internal improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and overall customer experience
Drive continuous improvement by embedding best practices across customer service and customer relations functions
Proven experience in customer service or customer relationship management within the mining, industrial, or heavy industry sectors
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing contracts and negotiations
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage complex customer environments and resolve high-level issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Relevant industry experience in mining or resources
