About this opportunity

We are seeking a forward-thinking Customer Project Manager (CPM) to join our team at Ericsson. In this role, you will combine strategic planning, strong customer centricity, and leadership to drive successful project execution. You will be responsible for our Fulfillment Assignment Specifications (FAS) in execution, maintaining a data- and value-driven focus to ensure that projects deliver significant value and benefits to our customers and contribute to Ericsson’s overall success.

You will ensure compliance with group, legal and financial directives, global and local Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (E+OHS), data security and privacy, as well as other relevant approved processes and tools.

What you will do

• Ensure pre-sales Contract For Resources (CFR) aligns with delivery capabilities.
• Establish project plans and secure approvals for successful execution.
• Manage customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment throughout the execution phase.
• Maintain financial performance, securing target unadjusted margin through delivery excellence within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Manage compliance with applicable directives and legislations, ensuring delivery without compromising people and the environment.
• Account for data accuracy, supporting conscientious and reliable reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project scope, leveraging data and insights.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure proper resourcing, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Report project status, risks, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

• Experience with automation and process optimization to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
• Strong process management capabilities, including structuring, monitoring, and improving end-to-end project workflows.
• Proven negotiation skills for managing agreements, scope, and changes with customers and partners.
• Service delivery business understanding, preferably within telecom or ICT environments.
• Data analytics skills, enabling you to interpret project and delivery data to support decision-making.
• Solid financial acumen, including forecasting, margin assurance, and cost control.
• Awareness of and interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it can support project and service delivery.
• Customer insights capability, using feedback and information to drive value-adding improvements.
• Understanding of the Ericsson portfolio and how to position solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance multiple interests and maintain strong collaboration.
• Change and improvement management skills, driving adoption of new ways of working.
• Program/project finance management experience, including budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
• Strong customer relationship-building skills, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery accountability.
