Job Description Summary

The experienced site operations & contract performance manager serves as the primary interface between the customer and the project team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance services and operational excellence. This role holds "wing-to-wing" accountability for assigned contracts, including the management of resources, risk modeling, financial performance, and site safety. You will act as the single point of contact for the customer, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met while driving long-term customer satisfaction and profitability.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contract & Operations Management
  • Operational Ownership: Oversee all on-site maintenance services, including preventive and remedial activities, field engineering support, and facility management.
  • Contract Administration: Manage pre- and post-contractual administration, including terms and conditions, claims management, and risk modeling.
  • Financial & Metric Stewardship: Ensure strict adherence to contract financial and technical specifications. Drive profitability while maintaining high standards for quality, volume, and timeliness.
  • Proposal Support: Assist in sales campaigns, tender preparation, and project reviews, providing the analytical expertise to support new business acquisition.
  • Customer Relationship & Leadership
  • Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for the customer, facilitating clear communication, negotiating contract variations, and ensuring the timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
  • Site Leadership: Serve as the authorized representative for site operations, with full responsibility for site safety management and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Guidance: Lead functional teams and small projects, building consensus and mentoring junior staff. Influence cross-functional strategy by providing deep technical and business-driven insights.
  • Strategic Influence & Innovation
  • Process Improvement: Interpret complex business challenges and recommend best practices to improve product and service delivery.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize in-depth technical expertise and multi-source data analysis to solve complex operational problems and develop solutions that extend beyond standard parameters.
  • Industry Awareness: Maintain an expert-level understanding of market trends, competitive positioning, and evolving technical standards to inform departmental strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Master’s degree from an accredited university, or an undergraduate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in Services & Contract Performance Management (CPM) and in Power Industry.
  • Professional Certification: Must hold relevant professional engineering or safety licenses (e.g., Professional Engineer(기술사/기능사), Certified Engineer(기계공사기사), Industrial Safety Engineer(산업안전기사), or equivalent).
  • Traveling: This is a hybrid role; mandatory travel to multiple customer sites.
