BookBeatβs journey began in 2015, with the ambition to create a market-leading service for digital books. In 2016, the BookBeat app was launched.
Today, around 10 years since our launch, more than one million people use BookBeat every month. Weβre part of Bonnier Books and continue to grow across Europe with plenty of pages still left to write.
Team BookBeat now consists of around 170 curious and committed doers, working across areas such as tech, product development, books, marketing & sales, finance, business development and people operations.
What brings us together is not just what we do, but how we do it. Our four core values guide the way we work, collaborate and grow:
π Be great at what you do
π£ Share what you know
π Curiosity for our users and us
π€ Build Team BookBeat
In practice, this means we want people to keep developing within their area of expertise, while also sharing knowledge generously with others. We work closely across teams, learn from each other and stay curious about our users, our product and the journey weβre on. We also believe that everyone contributes to the culture we build together. Whether itβs through collaboration, feedback, new ideas or simply helping a colleague out, we all play a part in making BookBeat a place where people can do great work and enjoy the journey along the way.

In 2015 Bonnier Books β one of Europeβs leading publishing companies β gathered a team of digital innovators and literature lovers to create a market leading service for digital books. Spurred on by our curiosity and a profound commitment to our users, to books and to new technology we created BookBeat.
Backed by Bonnier, which has had more than one hundred years worth of experience with creating, refining and distributing great stories, we have set out to create the best possible service for digital books.
Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for everyone to find and experience great stories. So whether you want to contribute by becoming a part of our team and put your skills within product development, design, analysis, marketing or literature to work or just want an easy way to enjoy a great book - we invite you to join us!
