Job Description

Your responsibilities:

  • setting strategic direction for the Customer Master Data Management across the functional areas in Miele Sales Back Office and continuously improving MD processes;
  • being a line manager for Master Data agents and Team Leads;
  • working on alignment and buy-in for Master Data transformation initiatives across the Clusters in matrix organization as well as the transformation itself;
  • serving as a bridge between HQ and SBO in Master Data topics;
  • defining, maintaining and ensuring compliance standards and being responsible for defining and tracking KPI’s and SOP’s;
  • putting in place relevant controls – designing, overseeing and serving as a point of contact for Internal Audit;
  • engaging senior stakeholders (VP / SVP Finance, Data & Analytics, D&T, ERP program leads) to ensure understanding and alignment;
  • supporting systems implementation through providing master data domain input and participation in implementations projects on various stages.

Our requirements:

  • several years of experience in Master Data Management (SSC or GBS environment is an asset) and proven record of owning Customer Master Data domains;
  • experience in leadership of remote / globally-distributed teams;
  • experience in working with SAP or similar ERP systems in master data modules and prior involvement in large ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA etc.);
  • strong business acumen: ability to understand processes, decision trade-offs, commercial impact;
  • excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels;
  • analytical mindset and familiarity with data management tools, dashboards, automation tools;
  • process thinking: mapping, documentation (SOPs), optimization, standardization;
  • experience with change management, process redesign methodologies;
  • University degree, preferably in Data Management, Business Administration, Information Systems or similar.
