Who are We?

At Henderson Group, we are proud to be one of Northern Ireland’s leading organisations, employing more than 6,000 colleagues across Henderson Wholesale, Henderson Retail, Henderson Foodservice, Henderson Group Property and Henderson Technology. We are a locally owned business with a strong heritage, well-known brands and a continued focus on growth, innovation and investment in our people.

A look into the role…

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Team and play a key role in the day-to-day delivery and optimisation of Henderson Group’s loyalty and CRM activity across our shopper and colleague apps. Working with teams across the business, you will bring our promotional calendar to life, turn performance data into meaningful insight and help deliver responsive customer support. Your accuracy, creativity and eye for improvement will help drive engagement, enhance customer journeys and create a better overall experience. This is initially a six-month temporary opportunity, with the successful candidate eligible to be considered should a permanent role become available within our growing team during that time.

Working as Customer Loyalty Executive, you will:

  • Deliver daily and cyclical loyalty activity across shopper and colleague loyalty app platforms, ensuring campaigns are accurate, timely and aligned with the promotional calendar.
  • Set up, test, launch and monitor in-app mechanics, push notifications and marketing campaigns.
  • Co-ordinate clear, on-brand artwork and digital assets with internal colleagues and external partners.
  • Provide first-line support for loyalty-related customer queries, maintaining clear records and progressing issues to resolution across in app and wider coms channels.
  • Maintain loyalty dashboards and CRM records, analyse performance against agreed KPIs and insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, customer journeys, engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support the testing and adoption of new CRM functionality and provide wider support to the Marketing Team as required.

What you’ll need:

  • Experience working with a loyalty platform, CRM system, marketing automation tool or mobile app.
  • Experience co-ordinating digital campaigns, promotions, offers or customer communications.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign and customer data, maintain dashboards and communicate clear insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to checking campaign content, targeting, timing and customer journeys.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide professional customer support.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage recurring activity, competing deadlines and urgent issues.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the confidence to learn CRM, loyalty and reporting platforms.

It would be desirable if you also have:

  • A third-level qualification in marketing, business, communications, data analytics or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience using AI, particularly Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience in retail, SaaS or another high-volume customer environment.
  • Experience creating or adapting digital artwork and content using recognised design tools.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation, personalisation, A/B testing and campaign optimisation.
  • An understanding of UK GDPR, direct-marketing permissions and responsible customer-data handling.
  • A track record of continuous improvement or driving positive change.

Are we right for you?

As part of this role, it will be important that you feel aligned with the values that we live and work by:

  • Ambition – We always strive to be better. We seek new challenges and look for ways to do things better.
  • Customer First – We provide exceptional service. We put customers at the heart of everything and support our communities.
  • Teamwork – We succeed together. We help colleagues to succeed, and we share our knowledge and skills.
  • Integrity – We are fair, honest and ethical. We treat everyone with dignity and respect. We are inclusive and champion diversity.

The Reward

The impact you can make with Henderson Group goes far beyond your day-to-day role. You will be part of a business that places local communities at the heart of what we do and continues to invest in our people, our brands and our future growth. We offer a market-competitive reward package, colleague discounts and a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and development.
