As a Logistic Excellence Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Driving initiatives to improve load factor and overall transportation efficiency across global shipments
Optimizing order quantities, palletization, and shipment frequency to enhance network performance
Supporting domestic and international freight operations, including consolidation and FCL optimization
Collaborate with Distribution Centers, manufacturing sites, and logistics partners (3PLs, freight forwarders) to ensure smooth execution
Implement packaging and shipping solutions that improve trailer utilization, material handling, and cost efficiency
Analyzing loading processes (e.g., crating, decking, dunnage) to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or related roles
Proven experience managing projects or programs in a global or complex environment
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Fluent in English
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP/CLTD, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt)
Strong project and program management skills, including experience with large-scale or transformation initiatives
Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and logistics operations
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners such as 3PLs and freight forwarders
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive results in a fast-paced global environment
