The team

Transaction Services (TS) is a core business line within ING Wholesale Banking, delivering payment products and services to corporate and institutional clients worldwide. TS Delivery Management is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of integrated, high-quality solutions across ING’s global network, enabling clients to experience ING as one bank. In your role as CJE for InsideBusiness Payments, you will carry end-to-end responsibility for the delivery, stability, and run management of IBP solutions.

Your role

As a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) within the Payments & Channels Product Area, you will join the Channels team, which is responsible for interactive payment channels, including InsideBusiness Payments (IBP) and the Bank User Portal (BUP). The team also plays an active role in major strategic initiatives such as NextGen, OnePCM, Payment Tracker. You will work closely with Commercial Product Management and IT teams, with a strong focus on technical product development, predictable delivery, and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, compliant, and operationally ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate and refine business requirements into clear, deliverable product features for InsideBusiness Payments
  • Support product development with an end-to-end delivery mindset, including (C)OPAF implementation and full operational readiness
  • Act as a strong bridge between business and IT to ensure high-quality delivery, including defining, coordinating, and executing user acceptance testing
  • Drive simplification of solutions and processes to improve efficiency and operational excellence
  • Monitor channel usage and performance using relevant data and management information
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and control requirements in close collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance
  • Work closely with Product Management and IT to ensure timely, predictable, and high-quality product delivery
  • Contribute to QBR objectives, service reliability, and secure, stable 24/7 operations

What are we looking for

  • A delivery-oriented professional with a strong client focus.
  • Solid knowledge of payments and digital channels, combined with sufficient technical understanding to work effectively with IT.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex topics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-maker, resilient in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Proactive, communicative, and collaborative team player who actively demonstrates ING’s Orange Behaviours.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with, or strong affinity for, Transaction Services products and product delivery
  • Proven experience working closely with IT engineering and delivery teams
  • Familiarity with the ING Agile Way of Working is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
