This includes rolling up your sleeves and delivering key parts yourself (not only coordinatingor delegating). You work closely with operational teams, Circle Leads,ITand programs — often without formal authority — and know how to create progress through influence,persistenceand structure. This is a hands-on role with personal accountability for getting things over the line. You are close to the operation, actively involved inchangeinitiatives, and accountable for making sure decisionsactually workon the floor. Your work will focus on operationalizing solutions that drive transformation across our organization.

AboutCOO Mortgages

Mortgages Operationsoperatesin a domain characterized by a high degree of dynamism and complexity. Changes occur rapidly due to increasing volumes, stricter laws and regulations, technological innovation, and major programs. WithinOperations, multidisciplinary teams collaborate on both Origination and In Life Management (ILM). There is extensiveexpertisein mortgages; the added value of this role lies in connecting, orchestrating, and realizing change across teams and chains.

About the Role

In thisroleyour focus is MortgagesInLife Management.You’llreporthierarchallyto the Super Circle Lead of your area andbe part of the Center of Expertise (CoE) withinMortgagesOperations, which consists of fourCustomer Journey Experts, each with their own focus area.In this role, you serve as the connecting link between the Mortgages Tribe (squads and programs) and Operations. You ensure that Operations is involved in changes with operational impact in a timelymannerand that decisions are effectively implementedand embeddedin daily practice.

Youwill alsoplay akeyrole inlarge changeinitiatives across themortgagesdomain. In doing so, you ensure alignment, manage dependencies, and monitor progress for both ongoing operations and change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Drivingexecutionofchange

  • Own and executethe operational implementation of tribe and program initiatives, from decision to golive and stabilization

  • Translate change initiatives into concrete implementation plans (actions, owners, milestones, readiness criteria) anddeliver critical work products yourself(e.g., playbooks, runbooks, readiness packs)

  • Actively follow up on actions, remove blockers, and escalate where needed to keep momentum —and take on tasks directly when that is the fastest path to results

  • Coordinate (and where neededlead and execute) testing, training, communication and cutover activities with operational teams

Connecting Tribe and Operations

  • Ensure Operationsisinvolved early in initiatives with operational impact

  • Representoperational interests inchangeinitiatives andchallengethem were needed

  • Bring operational bottlenecks and signals back to the tribe agenda and ensure followup

Control,and impact

  • Maintain a clear, integrated overview of run & change dependencies for Operations

  • Track progress andimpactof change initiatives

  • Ensure changes are embedded in processes, tooling, working instructions and KPIs

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree (HBO/WO level)

  • Experience with improvement and transformation projects

  • Knowledge of banking processes, IT tooling, and service concepts

  • Stronganalyticalandnumericalskills

  • Fluentin Dutch and English
