The Customer Information QA Analyst will be responsible for the auditing, monitoring, and offering suggestions to improve overall efficiency of the team’s research processes. Supported by Researchers, Customer Information Analysts, Process Engineers, Technology Developers, and Business Leaders, this role will foster a culture of continuous improvement that embraces quality assurance, problem-solving, and waste elimination. By making actionable customer information available, we help Grainger market, sell, and deliver the best products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Analyze data and processes to uncover the root causes of problems, ensuring long-term solutions and continuous improvement.
Perform process performance audit by sampling and analyzing data created through standardized research
Understands the US MRO market - what customers exist in which industries, and how attractive they are to Grainger
Initiate rework processes as necessary and provide feedback to the research team to ensure that data discrepancies are corrected in a timely manner
Measure and communicate process performance metrics
Collaborate with stakeholders across Grainger to maximize quality and efficiency of Customer Information research
Contribute to development and continuous improvement of standard research processes
Enhance audit processes based upon quality findings to reduce data defects and reduce manual work required to identify errors in the information we create
Partner with Customer Information Design team to set data standards and enhance the CI governance framework.
