The Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Experience Technician to join our Brisbane team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, learning new skills, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You'llreceive comprehensive training across our premium appliance range and work alongside experienced technicians who are passionate about sharing their knowledge. Through a combination of structured learning, technical training, and practical experience,you'lldevelop the skills needed to diagnose, repair, andmaintainour products to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Experience Technician,you'llbe the face of Fisher & Paykel in customers' homes, combining technicalexpertisewith exceptional service to create positive customer experiences.

You will:

• Deliver exceptional in-home service experiences,representingthe Fisher & Paykel brand with professionalism,expertise, and a customer-first mindset.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test premium appliances, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality outcomes for customers.

• Assess product performance,identifythe most effective repair solution, and clearly communicate recommendations and next steps to customers.

• Maintain and manage van stock of spare parts inventorytomaximiseefficiency and first-time fix rates.

• Complete service documentation, quotations, and job records accurately, while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

• Complete service documentation, customer records, quotations, and reports accurately andin a timely manner

• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, ensuring all work meets company and regulatory standards.

• Continuously develop your technicalexpertisethrough training, product knowledge, and collaboration with colleagues to deliver best-in-class customer outcomes

What We're Looking For

We'reinterested in people who are motivated to learn and committed to delivering exceptional service.You'llbring:

• Previousexperience in appliance repair,fault-findingand troubleshooting, ideally within domestic appliances, whiteware, electronics, ora relatedtechnical trade.

• The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service documentation.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability toidentifyroot causes and provide effective long-term solutions.

• A customer-first mindset with a professional approach and excellent communication skills.

• Strong written communication skills and confidence using digital service systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology.

• High attention to detail, strongorganisationalskills, and the ability to work autonomously.

• A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.

• A current driver'slicenceand the ability to travel to customer locations asrequired

• Experience servicing premium appliances or Fisher & Paykel products will be highly regarded.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronics, Appliance Service, Refrigeration, or related Trade Qualification.

• Queensland Restricted Electrical WorkLicence(Disconnect/Reconnect endorsement) or equivalent electricalauthorisationpreferred.

• Licensed Electrical Service Technician or Registered Electrical Service Technician experience highly regarded.
