About the role

The Customer Experience Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the service areas of Tennis World Melbourne venues, including Court hire, Membership, Programs, Coaching, Pro Shop, Restringing, Merchandise and Café all deliver the highest levels of customer service and efficiency. This role will be responsible for the service delivery and administration of areas within the Tennis World Customer Experience team. This includes but is not limited to; Functions, Memberships, Retail, Café and Coaching areas of the business.

As a member of the Tennis World team, the Customer Experience Supervisor will take a ‘hands on’ approach working collaboratively with the team to provide excellent customer service. This role is 100% on-site across both of our venues at Albert Reserve and Melbourne Park. Please note that this role will require some evening and weekend work.

Reporting into the Tennis World Customer Experience Lead (VIC) in this role you will:

  • Promote an effective, satisfying and productive working environment within the team.
  • Oversee the consistent delivery of excellent customer service and administration at front of house by regularly monitoring performance and offering feedback, training and support to staff.
  • Maintain and deliver high standards of facility management across all areas within the responsibility of Tennis World Melbourne venues.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the administration of Tennis World Memberships.
  • Coordinate Tennis World Birthday Parties, including staffing, court bookings, invitations, communications and promotional activities.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Event management experience
  • Excellent operational and administrative skills with a customer service focus
  • Barista or cafe experience (desired)
  • Ability to set priorities, plan work programs and meet deadlines
  • A current and valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
  • Preparedness to be flexible regarding working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
