As we expand across German-speaking Europe, we're looking for someone who can be the trusted voice of Takomo for DACH golfers and help us get the experience exactly right for that market.

Your mission (should you accept it)
Picture this: You're in the heart of Takomo Golf, in Turku, where we craft magic in the form of golf clubs. As our German-speaking Customer Experience Specialist, you'll be the face (and voice) that helps DACH golfers navigate the sometimes rocky road of online shopping. Think of yourself as a golf concierge, but instead of tee times, you're answering messages, solving problems, and making sure every customer feels like a VIP, in flawless, native German.

On top of frontline CX, you'll play a key role in our DACH market expansion: making sure everything customers read, hear, and experience truly fits the German-speaking market. Not just translated, but localized.

We're looking for a full-time teammate to join our CX crew. Most of us are based in Turku, and that's where we'd love you to be too. We work in a hybrid way, but since the gang's mostly at the office, we encourage you to spend your days here with us.

Here's what we need from you

Customer experience

  • Be the German voice of Takomo: answer customer inquiries in native-level German, guide our customers, and solve problems with warmth and clarity.

  • Know your stuff: help customers choose the right gear, guiding them through our world-class lineup from clubs to accessories. When they need help, you're the first to offer the perfect solution.

  • Keep it cool: bring a problem-solving mentality. Sometimes customers need a hand, other times they just need to feel heard and understood. You're there for both.

  • Be proactive: gather feedback, share insights, and help us keep improving. We're not just making golf clubs; we're making the whole experience better.

DACH localization & market expansion

  • Localize, don't just translate: adapt product descriptions, support content, emails, and campaigns so they read like they were written for German-speaking golfers from day one. Tone, idiom, and golf terminology included.

  • Speak the game in German: apply correct, market-specific golf terminology so our communication sounds credible to DACH players.

  • Stay on top of microtrends: track what's happening in golf across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The trends, the gear talk, the communities, and feed those insights back to the team.

Support cross-market expansion: work with marketing, product, and ops to bring the Takomo experience into new market "bubbles," making sure each one feels local and authentic.

What we're looking for

  • Native German: you write and speak German at a native level, with an ear for tone and nuance. This is non-negotiable for the role.

  • Fluent English: required for all internal and external communication as it's our primary working language.

  • You like golf. A lot: you understand the game, the gear, and the need for that sweet spot on the fairway and you can talk about it naturally in German.

  • DACH golf know-how: familiarity with golf culture, terminology, and the current microtrends across the German-speaking market.

  • Customer service experience: you've done it before, or you're ready to dive in.

  • A natural communicator: you can write like you're composing a love letter to golf. Both in German and English.

  • A problem-solver: someone has a question? You've got the answer. A customer needs help? You've got their back.

Bonus points: experience with Shopify, helpdesk platforms, or warehouse management tools. But if you don't have that, don't sweat it, we'll teach you.
