Job Description
Marketing Operations Manager
Location: Stamford, CT (100% In-Office)
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
The Role
Venture Home is looking for a technical operator to work directly with our CEO. You will be the "engine room" of our marketing department. This is a hands-on role for a "jackknife" who can manage projects, track improvements past the goal lie, and generally help us more effectively be omni-present for our customers and prospects to ultimately generate more business and welcome more homeowners into the Venture family.
We don't need a strategist; we need a builder who is obsessed with data accuracy and project execution. The ideal candidate should be tech savvy. We’re not expecting an expert, but someone who can navigate different platforms and wrap their heads around the evolving landscape of software as it relates to marketing, sales, and customer acquisition.
What You’ll Do
- Marketing Systems (50%): You will build and run our internal marketing infrastructure. This includes setting up AI-driven workflows, connecting software , and optimizing our footprint for search and answer engines (SEO/AEO).
- Data & Tracking (50%): You own the scoreboard. You will set up GA4/GTM, build dashboards, and track the performance of every internal and external marketing initiative. You prove what works and what doesn't.
- Project Management (50%): You turn the CEO’s vision into an actionable plan. You are responsible for the timelines, checklists, and delivery of all marketing projects.
(Yes, we know that’s 150%. This is a role for a high-output executor who hates being bored.)
Who You Are
- An Operator: You’d rather fix a broken tracking link or audit a database than sit in a meeting.
- Direct & Concise: You communicate in data points, not fluff.
- Technical: You aren't a developer, but you think like one. You are comfortable with CRMs, spreadsheets, and the latest AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity).
- Local: You live in or near Stamford and want to work in an office with a fast-paced team.
- Humble: Have a student mentality, work well with others, and don’t be above doing the work.
The Realities of the Job
- This is a 100% in-office role.
- You will work side-by-side with the CEO.
- You will be expected to own your mistakes and fix your own technical hurdles.
- You will be holding other teams accountable to reporting on initiatives put in place – once a project is shipped you will be responsible for tracking the improvement in KPIs downstream. We don’t want to finish deploying an initiative and then take a blind eye to it’s result.
How to Apply
Skip the cover letter. Tell us about a specific technical marketing problem you solved (a tracking issue, a broken automation, a data mess), or just why you’d be an awesome addition to our team. Describe the problem, the tools you used, and the result.
