THE OPPORTUNITY
Sydney JJI is the location of a newly imagined Johnson & Johnson Institute that is amongst the largest technologically advanced skills learning labs in ANZ to advance our mission of being the most trusted educator in healthcare. Our vision for the Institute is to deliver purposeful education, creating an engaging, efficient, and effective interactive experience at every touchpoint with our customers and HCPs in the education journey.
The Customer Experience & Professional EducationSpecialistwill be the face of our purpose-built Sydney Institute and will act as an experience champion for all educational activities performed in the site. Working closely with Professional Education Managers and Event Hosts to deliver an integrated and seamless experience flow to customers, you will primarilybe responsible forcoordinating all Institute site experiences and deliveringstate-of-the-artpersonalised customer experiences for the education space.
Additionally,this role will besupporting the Professional Education strategy;managing events andensuring high-quality, compliant, and measurable learning that drives procedure adoption and exceptional customer outcomesto support education journeys
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the onsite experience ambassador for JJI Sydney welcomecustomers, orchestrate end-to-end event journeys, and act as the primary point of contact from arrival to departure.
Manage intake and scheduling of Institute events (conference/meeting rooms, simulation suites)and other Prof Ed Events; coordinatewith event leads to gather requirements; oversee A/V testing and recommend content formats; run day-of event operations.
Create andmaintainsite processes supporting the customer journey. Manage supplies and vendor partnerships (catering, cleaning, security, A/V). Conduct site inspections and liaise with Facilities and EH&S tomaintaina safe, compliant environment.
Work with onsite A/V technicians to propose content formats,maintaina digital content library for in-site screens, and design/maintainthe Sydney Institute SharePoint site with comprehensive event-planning resources.
Partner with EP&S and site leadership to plan, build andevolvelearning spaces; manage capacity planning for clinician development; recommend continuous improvements to infrastructure and service models to meet MedTech/Innovative Medicine needs.
Contribute to the BU Professional Education strategy in Australia, ensuring alignment with the Australian Professional Education Governance Framework and BU priorities.Supportcustomer education journeys and route maps tied to clinical lifecycle stagesunder guidance of Professional Education Managers
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal education delivery requirements.Support witheventprioritisationguidelines; manage space/resource conflicts;attendcross-functional huddles for event execution; drive customer-experience KPIs and continuous improvements Maintain dashboards and measures to evaluate Professional Education effectiveness.
ABOUT YOU
Required:
Diploma/Degree qualified or experience in a related field
Desirable:
Minimum 4 years’ experience working within the MedTech space
4+ years total business support experience in any of the following areas: General Administration, Event Management,Retailand/or Services sectors
Ability to forge partnerships with vendors to provide innovative experience solutions
Passion for customer experience
Experience organising events within the healthcare sector with compliance regulations knowledge preferred
