Job Description

Vertiv are hiring for a Customer Engineer - Power in Turkey.

This is a field based role to cover the region but most of the work will be within 2 hours of the Istanbul area.

Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for UPS and related systems at customer sites, ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted system operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS and battery systems.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and service activities in accordance with technical procedures and quality standards.
  • Diagnose faults, perform necessary measurements and inspections, and implement appropriate technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support to customers as part of the 24/7 service organization when required.
  • Carry out service activities in a timely and complete manner while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare service reports, maintenance forms, and fault records accurately and enter them into the relevant systems on time.
  • Provide customers with technical information regarding equipment operation and basic procedures.
  • Identify and report technical risks, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities detected at customer sites.
  • Perform all field activities in compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required by business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduated from a vocational high school, technical college, or university in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Technical knowledge of UPS and battery systems and related technologies.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical/electronic circuit diagrams.
  • Ability to effectively use electrical measuring instruments and technical service tools.
  • Technical knowledge and field experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Preferably 3–5 years of field service experience in the UPS or a relevant technical industry.
  • Minimum B2 level English proficiency, with the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in a 24/7 service organization when required.
  • No restrictions on domestic or international travel.
  • Valid Class B driving license and ability to drive actively.
