Job Purpose:

To act as an external sales professional, offering day-to-daysalessupport foryour accountportfolio, managing estimates, orders,projects

Acting as the key contact forcustomers, this role works across the Branch network to ensureorders are managed, while building strong relationships,identifyingnewopportunities and actively supporting the growth of sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and growyour account portfolio.

• Develop trusted relationships with customersandimprove profitability.

• Be proactive, responsive, and visible, including regular site visits and customer check-ins

• Work closely with branch to ensure customer orders areprioritised,accurate, and aligned to site schedules and specific delivery requirements

• Support customers with theon-boardingof their new account, ensuringthat they start and continue to spend.

• Acquirea thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet the customer’s needs.

​ Experience Required:

• Experience within a sales, accountmanagementor customer support role

• Commercial and pricing awareness of margins, rebates, delivery charges, and credit processes

• Clear and professional communicator across phone, email, and in-person; able to build relationships with customers at all levels, local branches,suppliersand regional supportteams.

• Project coordination,prioritisationand multitasking skills

• Organisationalskills withabilityto manage your own diary

• Full UK Drivinglicence

• Experiencewithin builders’ merchant, supplier, or construction-related roleis desirable.
