Position: Customer Development Executive
Location: Rio de Janeiro - RJ, BRA
As the Indirect Channel Sales Executive based in Rio de Janeiro, you will be the main person responsible for the strategic and commercial management of Distributor and Wholesaler accounts across the state of Rio de Janeiro. You will act as a business enabler, ensuring excellence in commercial execution, rigorous management of key performance indicators (KPIs), and the rollout of company retail strategies through local partners. The primary mission of this role is to drive operational efficiency, foster sustainable sell-out growth, ensure strict execution of the 5Ps strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and Point of Sale/Exposure), and train as well as engage the distributor's sales force.
Main Responsibilities
Account Management: Develop and maintain strategic commercial relationships with clients (Distribution and Wholesalers), leading negotiations regarding volume, margin, and promotional calendars.
Sales Planning: Manage sell-in targets (sales to the distributor) and prioritize accelerating sell-out (sales from the distributor to retail), maintaining healthy inventory levels.
Point of Sale (POS) Execution: Ensure the implementation of the 5Ps pillars in the market serviced by the distributor, monitoring ideal assortment, correct pricing, and brand visibility.
KPI Analysis: Monitor and analyze reports covering client coverage, market reach, out-of-stock situations, stock days, and profitability, creating action plans to address any gaps.
Sales Force Management & Training: Train, refresh, and motivate the distributor's sales and supervisory teams through field routines (coaching loop) to align with Colgate standards.
Budget Management: Efficiently manage commercial investment budgets (sell-out funds, rebates, and trade marketing initiatives).
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree completed.
Experience: Experience in the commercial area.
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license (Category B, cannot be expired or suspended).
Preferred Qualifications
Language: Intermediate English proficiency.
