An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Delivery Controller – Turbines Requirement to join the team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive oversight of operational deliveries, ensuring customer requirements are met and risks are appropriately managed in a dynamic environment. You will proactively identify and mitigate delivery hazards, coordinating with cross-functional teams and supply chain partners to ensure robust and timely resolution.

Success in this role will require the ability to absorb and communicate complex information with clarity, confidently manage shifting priorities, and facilitate solutions that optimise customer outcomes.

What you will be doing:

  • Continuously monitor and manage delivery commitments, anticipating potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to minimise customer impact.

  • Coordinate escalated risk profiles, reporting delivery status and hazard information with precision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Plan and schedule work to meet time and quality targets, ensuring the integration of deliverables across internal and external boundaries.

  • Provide clear and timely communication regarding delivery issues, supporting conflict resolution and governance compliance.

  • Lead or actively participate in cross-functional project teams within a global business environment, enabling effective prioritisation and allocation of delivery resources.

  • Own accountability for status reporting activities, maintaining credible data for customer-critical parts and delivery performance.

  • Support the business through process improvements and contribute to communities of practice.

  • Provide management and sub-tier support where required.

Position Qualifications:

  • Proven ability in delivery risk management and proactive mitigation, with experience in supply chain or customer-facing functions.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex hazard scenarios and solutions across diverse audiences.

  • A track record of effective prioritisation, planning and performance delivery, with the ability to take responsibility and accountability throughout the working week.

  • Experience in leading teams or working across distributed groups, with ambition for personal and professional growth towards Supply Chain Operations management.

  • Broad exposure to operational challenges, cultures and methodologies, with readiness to step into leadership responsibilities.

  • Proficient in the use of SAP modules, including MD04, MB51, QM03, QM11 and ME21N.

  • Fundamental knowledge of ERP systems; completion of an intermediate ERP course is available if required.

  • Strong analytical abilities, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Well-developed skills including influencing, problem-solving, time management, working under pressure, collaboration and critical thinking.

  • Effective communication skills, tailored to suit a variety of audiences.

  • Awareness of cultural and language differences when interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Power BI skills would be advantageous, though not essential.

  • A basic understanding of shopfloor systems would be beneficial, though not mandatory.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of being visible on-site three days per week. Potential travel may be required to Turbines sites including Derby, Denby, Trentham, Rotherham and Bristol, as well as customer warehouses, as part of the role responsibilities.
