What you’ll do:

The Customer Data Administrator will support the sales and marketing organization in account data management. That includes the day-to-day management of Global Customer Master Data, including (but not limited to) the processing of creation/changing/blocking/unblocking/classification setting, grouping and/or hierarchy setting requests and monitoring data quality. He/She will be the primary contact for account data for the various (country) sales organizations and marketing teams.

The Customer Data Administrator will be working with various ERP (SAP), CRM system (Sales Force) and Reltio, as well as external tools (e.g. D&B) to make sure that the account data is maintained accurately within the agreed timelines and SLA. He/She will be supported by the EMEA Filtration Business. Account data management and understanding is key. Expected is that from time to time to work/align with the Contact Data Management team whenever needed and required.

The Customer Data Administrator will contribute to improve (standardize and automize) the customer creation and maintenance process for Filtration EMEA; together with peers, he/she will push account master data standards and governance in the sales and marketing organization, utilizing and promoting standard tools such as Power Apps.

He/She will support the validation and review of accounts in Eaton’s CRM system Salesforce and the ERP SAP system. He/She will report organizationally to the Team Lead of the customer master data management Team and functionally to the Commercial Finance Manager Filtration EMEA.

In summary you will:

  1. Be responsible for creating and maintaining account master data in Salesforce, ERP SAP system, and Reltio within an agreed timeframe (SLA) and defined standards:
  • Enter customer master data in SAP based upon documented processes and inputs from Sales, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, Sales representative and Credit Management.
  • Maintain (SF CRM, ERP SAP, and Reltio) Customer Master database integrity and ensure efficient screening of new customers/current customers.
  • Analyze, review, update, and correct data; delete and or merge duplicate records both in the MDM tool as well as in the CRM one.
  • Obtain further information for incomplete documents and hold requestors accountable to customer data standards, policies, and guidelines that don’t meet the requirements.
  • Push, enter and manage customer classification standards, grouping and hierarchy setting through virtual teams with support of Filtration EMEA sales organizations, segment management, product segments and marketing teams in various systems.
  • Improve continuously the consistency, integrity and availability of business relevant account data.
  1. Develop an understanding of end to end account creation and processes to provide quick and world class experience to our customers.
  2. Support the account data validation and review above systems in order to clean-up the existing account data base ensuring adherance for guidelines and standards.
  3. Support as part of a global team the development and enhancement of Eaton's central customer master data management initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in similar role (e.g. (Master) Data Analyst, Customer Service, Order Management).

Skills:

  • Basic ERP skills (Oracle, SAP) - ready to be trained and move to Advanced ERP skills.
  • Additional experience in CRM tools is a plus.
  • Sound understanding of SAP Master Data objects
  • Self-management skills, taking own initiative and influence decisions through others, but also a Team Player
  • Must be attentive to details, innovative with strong prioritization skills, Problem & Conflict solving capability
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Additional European language (e.g. German or French) a plus, but not essential.
