JOB TYPE – Hourly
HOURS 34-40 hours per week. 8 am up until 11 pm, 7-8 hours per day,
SHIFTS – 5 days per week, 3 full weekends a month.
PAY - pay range for this role is between $24.72-$28.43
The anticipated posting closing date is on or around 7/1/2025

What you'll be doing day to day

As a Customer Coordinator, supporting the in-store customer experience team, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations that are assigned by the Team Leader, including opening and/or closing duties for the unit which also include key and alarm code responsibilities.
- Troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, access, etc.
- Enhance the shopping journey of our visitors to IKEA by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge.
- Ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey.
- Record information in the relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience.
- Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability by understanding IKEA's product range and services.
- When needed, offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers.
- Forge a team mindset centered around first time right for every customer, ensuring a positive customer journey.
- Take part in additional department responsibilities to secure the daily operation for co-workers and customers.
- Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
- 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment.
Requirements:
- Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (1-50lbs).
The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 24.72 USD to 33.19 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
