The Role
In the Customer Communication Manager role, you’ll be driving content creation, writing articles, executing value-adding communications materials in close collaboration with stakeholders and team colleagues. Operational communication is central to this role: you will lead the timely delivery of customer advisories and crisis communications during disruptions, ensuring customers receive clear, accurate information exactly when they need it most.
As a communication professional, you will help drive our customer-centric approach by managing content activation and various communication projects. In this role, you will also produce engaging, multimedia content for the Maersk Logistics Insights area of our website, which equips customers with information on trends within logistics and global supply chains. You will assist on our podcast and our monthly customer deep dives, and more.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Communication Manager, our customers are your target audience. You will be responsible for planning, leading, writing, implementing, and evaluating customer-facing communications and content for different scenarios – from planned, value-adding content to time-critical advisories and crisis communications. You will be a content creator and manager. Your goal will be to drive customer engagement through strategic, value-adding, and operational communication; operational and crisis communications carry particular weight in this role, as clear, accurate, fast communication in these moments is essential to protecting customer trust. To do this, you will work closely with global and regional colleagues including Marketing, Corporate Communications, Legal, Sales, and Customer Experience.
