In the last few years, our business has expanded rapidly throughout the Midwest, with additional locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas. We are now looking to fill a Customer Care Specialist position. This role performs outbound calls to potential and current customers to provide updates and other relevant information on behalf of our sales specialists, working closely with our sales team to ensure accurate, effective, and quality communication.

What You'll Do

• Make outgoing calls to current and/or potential customers to deliver important updates and communication throughout the course of their roofing claims or repairs
• Serve as Shamrock's professional representative in all customer communications — by phone, email, and other channels
• Maintain strong knowledge of our roofing products and services to identify customer needs when communicating with them
• Document each call according to company and departmental policies and procedures
• Follow up with current and/or potential customers in a timely manner
• Apply a positive customer service attitude in every interaction and build strong rapport
• Communicate patiently, professionally, and effectively with internal and external customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $19.23–$21.63 per hour, based on experience
• Full-time position, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break; Saturdays 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of employment
• PTO accrual after 30 days of employment
• 401(k) eligibility after 6 months of employment
• All new hires are subject to a 90-day introductory period
• Bilingual candidates a plus!

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• 1–3 years of customer care or customer service representative experience
• Knowledge of spreadsheets (Shamrock uses Google Workspace)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong goal-setting and self-motivation
• Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working with computers, with access to a quiet work environment
• Keen attention to detail
