How You'll Contribute to Our Success

As our Customer Care Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind seamless order fulfillment, ensuring every customer interaction is efficient, accurate, and positive. From processing orders and verifying inventory to coordinating shipments and managing pricing, you’ll own the end-to-end process—anticipating needs, solving challenges, and keeping operations running smoothly. Your proactive, agile approach will help you pivot effortlessly between daily tasks and urgent requests, while your collaborative mindset strengthens partnerships with sales, logistics, and customers alike. What You’ll Do as a Customer Care Specialist

  • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Lesaffre's safety-first culture by strictly following all safety protocols and participating in required safety programs
  • Customer Experience Champion
    • Drive customer satisfaction by managing the complete order lifecycle - from initial entry through final invoicing
    • Ensure order accuracy by verifying product availability and strategically assigning lots
    • Facilitate smooth transactions by generating invoices, monitoring payment timelines, and processing returns
    • Maintain organized records through professional documentation management
  • Sales Enablement Partner
    • Empower sales success by providing:
      • Timely product samples and technical documentation
      • Competitive pricing proposals and commercial support
      • Quality department coordination for customer inquiries
      • Data-driven sales reports from our ERP system
    • Business Operations Connector
      • Strengthen cross-functional alignment by collaborating with:
        • Sales teams on forecasting and inventory planning
        • Finance and Accounting on pricing strategies
        • Quality and Supply Chain on operational efficiency
        • Extract valuable business insights through ad-hoc data analysis
        • Ensure commercial policy compliance across all customer interactions
      • Pricing & Policy Guardian
        • Implement and communicate pricing updates with precision
        • Support the Sales team with accurate pricing documentation
      • Problem-Solving First Responder
        • Deliver exceptional service during critical situations including:
          • Emergency shipments
          • Product recalls
          • Operational disruptions
        • Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international trade, logistics, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in a similar position is required
  • Experience working within SAP is required

Preferred qualifications:

  • Food industry experience is preferred
  • Fluency is Spanish is a plus
