We're seeking a skilled and motivated CMP Slurry Application Specialist to support the development, qualification, and integration of CMP slurry in advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes. This role involves close collaboration with customer, R&D and manufacturing team to ensure the performance and reliability of slurry solutions across various nodes and applications (e.g., Cu, barrier, oxide, tungsten).

Your Role:

  1. Act as primary technical interface between customers and internal teams for slurry-related inquiries and projects
  2. Support the evaluation, qualification, and troubleshooting of CMP slurry products at customer site.
  3. Conduct on-site process optimization, DOE, and data analysis to improve performance metrics such as removal rate, defectivity, selectivity and cost-of-ownership etc.
  4. Provide detailed technical feedback to R&D for product improvement and new product defelopment.
  5. Develop application documentation, technical reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Support failure analysis, root cause investigations, and technical issue resolution.
  7. Monitor industry trends and customer roadmaps to support slurry development aligned with market needs.

Who You Are:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related discipline.
  2. 5-10+ years of experience in CMP process or slurry development/application in semiconductor
  3. Familiarty with various CMP consumables (slurry, pad, conditioner) and integration challenges.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hands-on experience with metrology tools (e.g., SEM, AFM, defect inspection, profilometry) is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
