As a Customer Analytics Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping shape smarter, more data-led marketing decisions across one of Australia’s largest customer bases.
This is a hands-on analytics role focused on understanding customer behaviour, uncovering opportunities within large first-party datasets, and translating analysis into meaningful commercial and customer outcomes.
You’ll partner closely with marketing stakeholders to influence campaign strategy, targeting and performance through clear, actionable insights.
Applications for this role will close Monday June 1
You’ll use customer and transactional data to uncover insights that improve targeting, engagement and campaign effectiveness across the customer lifecycle. Working across large, complex datasets, you’ll support campaign delivery, measure performance and help stakeholders understand not just what is happening, but why.
A key part of the role is translating analysis into commercially relevant recommendations that influence decisions and drive measurable outcomes.
• Analyse customer and transactional datasets to identify trends, opportunities and growth drivers
• Build audience segments and support campaign targeting using SQL and marketing data platforms
• Measure campaign effectiveness and develop frameworks to assess incremental impact
• Translate complex analysis into clear, practical recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
• Create dashboards and visualisations in Power BI to support decision-making
• Partner closely with marketing stakeholders to solve problems, shape thinking and influence outcomes.

You’re comfortable working with large datasets and bringing structure to ambiguity, but equally confident communicating insights in a clear, concise and actionable way. You can connect technical findings back to customer and commercial impact, and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Strong SQL capability across data extraction, transformation and analysis
• Experience working with customer, CRM or transactional datasets at scale
• Experience measuring campaign performance and customer behaviour trends
• Experience translating analysis into recommendations that influence marketing or commercial decisions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to tailor insights to different audiences
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools
• Exposure to test-and-learn methodologies, experimentation or A/B testing approaches
• A curious, proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
