Job Description

As a Customer Account Success Intern at DNV Company, you will be responsible for refining core customer processes, conducting research, and executing customer related tasks. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn how customer success, operations, and go to market teams work together to deliver value to customers.

This role is based at our DNV offices in Portland, OR or Corvallis, OR.

What You’ll Do

  • Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Assist in reviewing and refining core Customer Success processes (e.g., onboarding, renewals, customer communications)
  • Help document workflows, playbooks, and best practices

Identify gaps or inefficiencies and suggest improvements

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research on customer success software tools, industry trends, and best practices
  • Gather and summarize customer insights from internal systems, surveys, or feedback
  • Support basic data analysis related to customer engagement or usage
  • Customer Related Execution
  • Assist with customer communications, follow ups, and coordination
  • Support customer meetings by preparing notes, agendas, or summaries
  • Help manage and update customer information in CRM or internal systems
  • Cross Functional Support
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Operations teams
  • Support special projects related to customer programs, pilots, or initiatives
  • Perform general administrative and operational tasks as needed

What Is Required

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to conduct research and summarize learnings
  • Organized, detail oriented, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working with basic tools such as Excel, MS CoPilot, or Microsoft Office
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

What Is Preferred

  • Interest in customer success, account management, or SaaS/technology
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or customer success tools
  • Appreciation and interest in learning and applying AI to deliver value to customers
