Your Contribution

  • New Product Introduction (NPI) & Engineering Change Management
  • Serve as the primary coordination point between assigned customers and internal functions for quality, product qualification, and engineering change matters.
  • Understand, document, communicate, and coordinate the implementation of customer requirements and customer-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate customer deliverables and ensure agreed actions, reports, samples, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain clear records of customer requirements, open actions, approvals, commitments, and quality-related correspondence.
  • Coordinate customer audits, surveys, questionnaires, scorecards, technical requests, and quality performance reviews.
  • Lead customer complaint investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate containment, corrective, and preventive actions, and verify their implementation and effectiveness.
  • Support customer meetings, qualification reviews, quality reviews, and business performance discussions.
  • Escalate significant customer risks, recurring quality issues, delayed approvals, and overdue actions to the relevant management team.
  • Monitor customer scorecard performance, customer satisfaction metrics, and quality-related KPIs, and drive improvement actions to achieve targets.
  • Monitor product quality, process stability, process capability, and relevant quality trends throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Coordinate failure analysis using appropriate analytical and statistical techniques.
  • Support containment and disposition activities for non-conforming products and processes.
  • Apply appropriate quality tools, including SPC, MSA, FMEA, and statistical analysis.
  • Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving and continuous improvement activities to reduce customer complaints, internal defects, scrap, and the recurrence of quality issues.
  • Serve as the quality lead for new product introductions, product transfers, and engineering change activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new products, process changes, material changes, supplier changes, and engineering changes, and ensure identified risks are effectively mitigated before product release or implementation.
  • Define product acceptance criteria, inspection methods, control plans, and quality requirements.
  • Support product and process feasibility reviews and ensure quality requirements are incorporated during development.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain PPAP documentation and other qualification records.
  • Coordinate qualification testing, reliability testing, sample submissions, Product Change Notifications (PCN), customer notifications, and customer approvals required prior to implementation.
  • Review and approve quality-related specifications, drawings, procedures, and documentation changes.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation of new products and engineering changes.
  • Monitor post-launch and post-implementation quality performance and drive corrective actions where necessary.
  • Support successful product launches by ensuring all quality deliverables are completed on time.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in customer quality, customer account support, new product introduction, engineering change management, or manufacturing quality.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, IATF 16949, Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis tools, and SEM/EDX failure analysis is preferred.
