As a Customer Account Leader, you’ll serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of product transactions while balancing customer expectations with business objectives. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality customer experience, supporting operational performance, and enabling customers to fly with confidence.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams including Operations, Engineering, Materials, and Sales
  • Manage customer accounts by analyzing requirements, making informed decisions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Process and validate customer orders, ensuring accuracy of induction data and purchase order details
  • Prepare and manage estimates, invoices, reports, and order documentation, including tracking estimate-to-invoice variance (EIVA)
  • Communicate customer requirements clearly across teams and ensure expectations are documented and executed
  • Coordinate responses to customer requests, including workscope changes, and maintain accurate order records
  • Provide customers with product information including pricing, delivery timelines, and availability, while managing expectations
  • Monitor and address cost impacts, including explaining pricing changes and identifying potential overruns
  • Manage customer concerns and inquiries, facilitating timely resolution and maintaining strong relationships
  • Advocate for customer priorities during production and cross-functional meetings, ensuring alignment with operational commitments

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer accounts, orders, estimates, or transactional workflows
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook in a professional setting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Desired Skills

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience managing large customer accounts or OEM relationships
  • Familiarity with estimates, invoicing, and cost analysis
  • Leadership experience or interest in leadership development
  • Program or project coordination experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and diverse environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
